I've always wanted to publish this pic...

Hmm......it is said that research has proven a human's left brain initiates logic, language and everything else that society recognises as 'smart'. Whereas on the right side of the brain which is the "more neglected part" initiates emotions, art, aesthetic and maybe the feminine part of every man haha.....who knows? Alright minus the latter point. Do you know which part of your brain is stronger or more outstanding than the other? Most people should, if you're confused with my question I simply mean are you aware of what you're outstandingly good at or at least excel from the others? Some may be good at language, some at math & numerals, also some at socializing and others at artistic stuff regardless of range from fine arts to music. Most of the time people are wired with different specialities if I may use that term and with the right combination will fit you into a specific part of society. eg: spanking math + logic + ferocious critical thinking & ideas = engineers ( with or without spectacles and nerd proof ).

Some may accuse me of being naive retorting that each can be cultivated through much work but may I say that sometimes that may be the rarest of case. Even if you succeed in that cultivation program it would still not be your best. Come to think of this.....where do I stand? left brainer or the right? I'm somewhere in between......This sparks my favor in the song by Lifehouse that has the same title. My combo leaves me cruelly in between the science & art world. Gosh, this fizzles me off! Dilemma is my common cold now...Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming God for creating me this way. Cause I'm sure under my hood everything is exactly as it is in His blueprint. Hey, this is no conspiracy at all! Which means there is a reason for my case and for everyone else' that is to be discovered individually where we belong but I have yet to discover the road paved ahead of me. This means I'll have to hold His hand and walk through this great adventure a step at a time. Notice the comforting part in my last sentence? Yeah, I know. I love it too, not alone but guided by the Almighty One. Ah..I love Him. :)

To be honest, life ain't easy since college begun. Actually whose is easy right? As loads of work is piled up I could barely adjust myself from all the idling :P Each morning worries pop up like weed. But what good is it to worry when it does not add a day to my life? I can't go through these few years so I'm clinging on the One who can! :)

College ain't so bad, got to know many peeps through orientation. There's also alot in my mind now.... but the favor of the Lord surrounds me like a shield! yeehaw! haha...

Friday

• Guitar class was quite okay today. I was taught to do some simple scaling practice & exercise for my fingers ( still on do re mi) while family chords aren't any challenge.
• Attended GTPJ's joint cell group activity which was a play entitled "The Runaway Bride" (without richard gere & julia roberts) by a team called "The Footstool Players" & they were great! 4 performers taking on various roles as narrator, storyteller,actor,etc... Carried a good and practical message too. Visit www.footstoolplayers.com to find out about them.

• Music practice in church was good!
• Attended Dr. Biles' People Helper Skill Part:2(B) And concentrated fully on keeping my upper eye lids from resting on my lower lids as my vision blurred up. Holding World Cup Finals in countries in time zones around GMT 0 to +3.00 or less is really causing sleep deficiency issues in GMT+8.00 countries like.....................................................................Malaysia

• King Yue came back for a visit after 6 years since leaving for HK. So of course I took the opportunity to hang out with him over lunch catching up on things. Still the same old great guy :)

I'm happy with my final week of freedom though I didn't really use it to the fullest but I think it was meaningful enough to be recorded down in my scribe's journal. Ok college begins tomorrow. & if God is willing I shall enter college as an evangelist! So friends will be a high priority for me :) I thank God for this new mission field. The Lord shall be my strength in all I do, Amen!

Tuesday

• Woke up late
• Went online
• Cooked dinner on menu: fried chicken, corned beef with chillies and potato, long beans.
• Its earthquake tuesday so what else to do but indulge in 16 scoops of frosted cream at Swensen's with the guys ( des, joel, william, andrew & guest appearances by harp & connie)
• Formed an unofficial dept: "Youth Force Conspiracy Analyst Department (YFCAD)"

Wednesday

• Supposed to enter church office in the morning but instead woke up to lunch and went to church at 2pm
• Did some finishing touches on the YF webpage
• Played along the Hillsong United: Look to You album nonstop...phew...
• Attended the 2nd last lesson of navigator's disciple-maker class

This is my last week of freedom or as I like call it slacking. Freedom from what? My studies that is. College will commence on Monday 3rd of July, 6 days away including today and I'm having mixed feelings of excitement and sorrow...haha, well its not too bad actually at least I'm able to do work again. I know it won't be easy the path ahead of me but I shall hold on to my Rock who strengthens me. Whoo...the thought of that comforts me and it all doesn't seem so hard anymore but I'll still have to work hard. There's aint no easy way out :P Ok, I shall put into record the ways I spend my last week from yesterday Monday:

Veged at home, strummed a tune(guitar) and wasted time on civilization 3 ( I blame Andrew! haha he's nice ), house chores.

This are the lyrics of one my favorite song by lifehouse from their first album "No Name Face". A song filled with beautiful meanings and a tear jerking tune. According to the singer/songwriter this song well describes his faith in God and people around Him. But by reading it I like to think its about God Himself... Highly recommended!
