Dusting off the sand from my feet, I gaze ahead at the land promised to my forefathers of the faith. It may be a whole journey long & walking it alone will prove the reality of failure. But I am a follower of the builder & the path ahead shall he build for me & all those who put their trust in him. For the builder himself has promised love & he will build his temple of souls. I have decided to put down my accusations & complains of the days in the wilderness. Therefore let us continue the glorious conquest together, brothers!
I dare you to move, I dare you to move..
I dare you to lift yourself up of the floor,
I dare you to move, I dare you to move..
Like today never happened, today never happened before.
The unfamiliar noise, the unwanted ringing in the air... No one, absolutely no one would ever be able to enjoy this kind of music, they told me... A genre too depressing for the emotionally equipped, a piece too difficult for the skilled pianist to execute. Why did I have to hear this scribble of notes in the air in the midst of all the harmony to my music? Playing a piece which I thought was so beautiful but at the same time challenges my stamina & taking much necessary toll on myself it finally calls for an early outro on a wrong note. "This is no good!" they commented. Hey, let me go through it again..whats wrong? Its a darn fine composition if you ask me. Look at all the perfect notes I've put in here & how do you beat this arrangement? Perhaps you can play my music with much more heart & soul but I truly doubt it my friend. Oh...oh.. I think I know whats the matter, argh... how ignorant I've been. My music has been playing on a monotone. Hold on, let me flick the stereo switch... This is not good..I can't find it! Only then have I discovered that the switch doesn't exist. Not clear if it ever did. An ending to my piece, too late has it arrive because it is playing me instead. The curtain call was anything but grand. Disguised with applause of empathy I call you a bluff. Very well then, I shall cease my playing. Because I long to make nothing but fine music.
