She's getting married..
Author: matthew /I was in a moment of dismay last week which I thought the moment lasted a little too long. It doesn't really relate to me, at least not directly but it could have been! Haha... You might find this laughable at the end but hey! its my free space here :) I recently came across a video clip of the 2007 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards' red carpet show and Brooke Fraser was interviewed.. standard procedures; introduced what she was wearing & her jewelleries. Here comes the catch, the interviewer lady noticed an outstanding piece of item on her finger...You guessed it, Brooke Fraser's engaged!! She went on with tune saying "I'm getting married~" while flashing her ring. When asked who're you getting married to? She pointed at a 'one look I know you're an Australian' guy saying "that guy! He's 6' 4 & with eyes like the ocean...." anyway he's Scott Ligertwood of Hillsong United, a musician-songwriter & he's possibly under 21! Can you believe that? As Haiyen said; if only I had a plane ticket to Australia dang.... haha don't worry I'm alright... Here's the video if you're interested, just watch minute 3.20 ignore the rest.

Introducing...
Author: matthew /The Measure of a Man
Author: matthew /Ever wonder what makes a true man of God? Or simply a true man as some may call it. I'm currently reading this book entitled "The Measure of a Man" by Gene A. Getz. I just borrowed its title for my post.. please dont sue me...X) This book lays out what & how men are intended to be from the Bible & includes many guidelines from scriptures, thoughts & true stories. Not formulas but mind provoking & encouraging contents on how we can be the man God wants us to be. Personally I've found out that there's much work to be done in me. I recommend this book for guys who really want to be what the Creator intended you to be & also ladies who want to know what does the Bible say about a good man. Available at all leading christian bookstores... I think..anyway I borrowed my copy from Hai Yen. :)
College comedy
Author: matthew /I've recently completed my 2nd semester with an ending chapter of a hilarious presentation from my course mates. It was our 'history of graphic design' presentation where we had to pick an individual designer & present about him of course. I went first as a custom in my class to push me out for presentations. It was nothing special, had the usual butterflies fluttering in my stomach but I was able to pull myself together (can't believe till today I've not overcome stage fright!). The fun began when this course mate of mine who is the cutest & yet the eldest in my class went up front to present his research. Firstly let me describe him physically; he's a very chubby 5' 4 guy from Sabah who wears a pair of thick black framed spectacles & his head is adorned with dark colored curly locks. He's cute! haha.. His presentation was exceptionally lengthy & boring but his language was the bomb! He was mentioning his designer as a "civil servant" which I am so so sure I heard him say he's a "silver serpent"! With a thick chinese accent he went on with his 25 minutes presentation with lah's to emphasize his point. eg; "so he is the official designer lah!" My lecturer dozed off haha.. My other funny course mate went up & he struggles with his english so his presentation was too much for him till he would spontaneously speak in hokkien " wah! si beh chang ah... hahaha... my lecturer giggled. It was good fun that day. Its really good to have these bunch of buddies in this line with me.
clogspot.com
Author: matthew /Through some reading on an article which criticizes blogs & bloggers (reference: william), I have come to a decision to adapt a term which was suggested in it. My blog will no longer be called a "blog" but a "clog". Why is that so? Because according to the writer of that crappy but somewhat factual article, blogs actually consist of logs that are either the owner's comments or posted up for readers to place their comments so it should also be called a comment log. While blog is derived from "web log" = "weblog" = "blog" so a comment log is simply called a "clog"! So nobody call me a blogger no more coz now I'm officially a clogger........I'm contributing to the activities of the millions if not billions of cloggers worldwide in their effort to clog up the INTERNET with no apparent reason but to simply slow down the system. But not all clogs are meant for good or any edification of oneself or others but to post defamation propagandas. Well, we can't sue our fellow cloggers so we'll have to let ego be lol!...
Too bad I don't make the call to change my URL to http://www.matthewmatics-me.clogspot.com/ coz it'll probably put blogspot out of business. Now don't be naive & go clicking on the link coz it really doesn't exist. I'll try to clog in once in a while to make sure the plumbers are busy so stay tuned for new clogs in pipes near you!
