You joyfully prance into the kitchen longing for a glass of pasteurized milk that is freshly stored into the refrigerator just a day after its purchase. You pull the refrigerator's handle opening the door releasing a gentle gust of cool air which tingles your toes. Upon a brief glance over the glorious view of the bountiful low temperature preserved food & leftovers, you nearly forgot to thank God for such blessings & reaches straight towards the beverage holder behind the fridge door which holds the pack of fresh cow's milk. "Doong" the fridge door closes shut with the pack of milk emptied from its belly. You conveniently grab a glass from the kitchen cabinet & hastilly but skillfully pours out a generous volume into the once empty glass. In all glee you raise the glass in your hand nearing it to your lips not expecting the tragedy that is to follow. The liquid formed around the glass almost immediately after the chilled milk rested on the inner surface created a slippery grip threatening to surrender itself to gravity. To your horror you realize that the natural cause & effect of condensation has got the best of your experienced hands, slipping the glass from your fingers calling an adrenaline rush which sadly fails to intercept the falling glass in mid air. It crashes to the ground from a height of more than a metre. Splattered milk, broken glass pieces & a mess was all you see after a disturbing noise vibrates into your ears...You feel disappointed for wasting what you favor & remorse for breaking something that was a whole. But you did not mean for it to happen...... Have you ever witnessed something that you treasure being broken at your own hands? Especially when you don't mean to do it? Could you have turned back time & undo your mistake? May you know this, I would have never wished it happened.... Yes, everyone I broke a glass today....

2 cents worth a penny:
This post is a great piece! But u may not want to end it just there. So sorry u broke a glass. But there's a message that you touched on just so briefly which means a lot. You may want to continue, a really interesting and great introduction to sth that answers your questions: What if you didn't mean to commit that mistake? No turning back time. With all the guilt and shame, what will you do? What are you suppose to do? And I don't mean for breaking a glass (heh) maybe for other reasons. I believe this will nourish the lives of many people who read your blogs! God bless you!
Thanks so much for appreciating my work, dear reader. Just so you know, this wasn't made up but it was in me when this post was done "For a man speaks from the overflow of his heart". I would want to continue but where do I start? Interesting titles you've disclosed. Shall I start from there as an answer to your question? God bless you too.. whoever you might be :)
